"Healing comes from connection. It comes from being deeply seen and felt by another person while we're in pain. When our distress is met with care rather than judgment, our nervous systems start to settle." Esther Perel
Why group work?
We started offering therapeutic groups in response to a growing need for mental health support that is human, accessible and grounded in connection. Therapeutic groups offer unique benefits that individual therapy cannot always provide.
Group work can:
- Reduce isolation and normalize shared experiences
- Strengthen communication, emotional regulation and relational skills
- Foster a sense of belonging, connection, and community
- Provide opportunities to practice vulnerability and authenticity in a safe environment
- Build confidence and resilience through shared learning and support
- Offer a more affordable way to access therapeutic support
Research consistently shows that group therapy can be as effective as individual therapy for many common concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship difficulties. Beyond symptom reduction, groups provide something many people are missing: meaningful human connection.
We believe growth happens not only through insight, but through connection. Groups create a space where people can learn from one another, challenge old patterns, and experience the healing power of being seen, heard, and understood.
